Patient Pathway
What the journey actually looks like.
We’re a newly launched, urologist-supervised clinic, so rather than dress up borrowed quotes, here’s an honest walk-through of what happens from your first call to your final session — with medical oversight from the Barrie Urology Group at every step.
Step By Step
From first call to finished course
Nothing here is a surprise on the day. If anything doesn’t fit your situation, we’ll say so.
01
You get in touch
A phone call or email. No referral needed. We answer questions about symptoms, suitability and cost before you commit to anything.
02
Your free demo session
You come into Barrie Urology Clinic, we review your health history with a medically trained eye, and you try the B-Pulse chair fully clothed so you can feel exactly what treatment is like.
03
An honest recommendation
If pelvic floor therapy suits your situation, we outline a plan and a realistic timeline. If it doesn’t, we tell you that and point you toward better options.
04
Your course of sessions
Roughly 30 minutes each, spaced over several weeks. You sit, the muscles work, and you carry on with your day afterwards.
05
Reviewing progress
We check in on symptoms as you go — leakage, urgency, night-time trips, confidence in activity — and adjust the plan around what’s actually changing.
Different to wellness-only clinics.
Core to Floor is a urologist-founded clinic operating inside Barrie Urology Clinic. Every protocol is shaped, reviewed, and supervised by the Barrie Urology Group, so your care is led by medical specialists from the first phone call.
What people tell us they want back
Almost every conversation we have starts with symptoms and ends up somewhere more personal. The goals people describe sound like this:
- Getting through a workout without planning around it
- Sleeping through the night
- Laughing, sneezing and lifting without a second thought
- Travelling without mapping every washroom
- Feeling like themselves again
